New from the Sweat Shop

I'm new to the whole blogging thing, but I guess I've procrastinated long enough so  . . . here goes.

Pam and I have been working at a fevered pace, literally!  Production came to a slight standstill while we were busy passing the flu bug back and forth between our families but now we're back to working hard.  And now that our air conditioner is fixed (shout out to Polar Air/Elmer Hartford for the quick help) we are no longer in a real sweat shop!

So here's what we're working on . . . I'm just finishing up skirts to go to Lil Surprises in Frankfort, IL.  They are turning out spectacular, if I do say so myself!  Pam has finished the Smurfette applique panel that will be the main focus of our Smurf dress.  As soon as I'm finished I'll be cutting out the Fall, Halloween and Christmas items to take with me to Williamsburg, VA.  I am beyond excited that I will finally get to meet my dear friend, Dawn Hansen of Olabelhe in person.  I'll be heading there in a couple weeks for a sewing retreat and I'm planning on sewing until my fingers bleed . . . well maybe not bleed (don't bleed on the white fabric!!  That's for you, Pam!).

Dawn featured us on her blog today as well!!!  Check out the fun jewelry Pam made to coordinate with Dawn's Halloween Phoebe!

Well, the kids are begging for lunch, so that's all for now!
